Cashmere Home in Johnsonville, Wellington, provides hospital level care for older people. We offer a comfortable environment where modern facilities are complemented by relaxing outdoor areas.
Family and friends are always welcome at Cashmere and we encourage them to visit our residents regularly.

Day activity programme
Cashmere offers a day activity programme for older people who live elsewhere and those with a disability, on week days from 10am to 3.30pm. Transport can often be arranged. Day activities may also be accessed as a part of residents' support plan.
Respite care
If you are caring for an older person occasionally you need time out to refresh. Cashmere provides a place for the person you care for while you get the rest you need. It's a flexible service to suit you.
Respite care may be funded by your local District Health Board or you can arrange it directly with us and fund it privately.
Hospital care
Our highly trained team delivers hospital level services in a warm, caring environment for people with complex needs. Cashmere Home works with local GPs to ensure our clients' medical needs are met. Residents may choose to retain a relationship with their own GP if this is practical.

Accessing any of our services is easy and worry-free. You can be referred by a needs assessment agency or your doctor, or you can call us directly. Enliven will fit around your requirements - all you need to do is ask.
