Community, interests and hobbies
Enliven staff do all we can to help residents keep doing all the things they love to do. Maintaining their interests and hobbies is important is key to happiness and quality of life. If you want to attend your florist group, RSA or Probus Club, we can organise transport.
Some homes have activity clubs such as gardening, movies and crafts and residents are welcome to set up a club if one doesn't already exist. If a resident enjoys gardening they might like to have their own small plot or care for potted plants within the home.
Visitors
Residents' family and friends are always welcome and we encourage them to visit as often as possible.
Outings
Residents can come and go as they like - they just need to let us know in case of an emergency. We'll organise plenty of group outings, including shopping and sight-seeing trips and visits to community clubs and events.
Onsite entertainment
We regularly organise entertainment, including music, talks and presentations. Sometimes a resident may not feel like socialising and that's fine. Although we encourage residents to participate, we respect their freedom of choice at all times.
