Kilmarnock Heights Home - Wellington
Kilmarnock Heights is located near the centre of Wellington, with wonderful views across Berhampore golf course and down to Island Bay.
We support residents in maintaining their preferred lifestyle and independence in a warm, home-like environment. Family and friends - even pets - are always welcome to visit.
Community networks
We encourage guests to maintain an active role in their community, visiting their own hairdresser, RSA or sports club. We offer regular onsite church services or we can arrange for residents to visit their own church.
Community Café
We welcome all older people to join us for morning tea or an affordable lunch. Community Cafe at Kilmarnock Heights is a great way to meet like-minded people in a friendly environment. People wanting to visit just need to call us on the morning of the day they'd like to come.
Day activity programme
Our day activity programme is open to all over 65-year olds in Wellington and those with a disability. It runs Monday to Friday, 9am to 3.30pm.
Enjoy a two course lunch, morning and afternoon teas and take part in a variety of outings to interesting places. We can pick people up and drop them home by arrangement.
Rest Home
Moving into residential care can be a positive decision for everyone concerned. Our Rest Home supports older people who cannot manage at home. Enabling you to maintain your independence and privacy in home-like surroundings is our goal.
Respite care
If you are caring for an older person, occasionally you need time out to refresh. Kilmarnock Heights provides a place for the person you care for while you get the rest you need. It's a flexible service to suit you.
Respite care may be funded by your local District Health Board or you can arrange it directly with us and pay for it privately.
Convalescence
We can look after people as they recover from surgery or illness. Our registered nurses and trained support staff provide meals and help with personal care for as long as it's required. This can be in our Home or yours.
Access our services
Accessing any of our services is easy and worry-free. You can be referred by a needs assessment agency or your doctor, or you can call us directly. Enliven will fit around your requirements - all you need to do is ask.
