Private home support
Enliven offers a range of positive ageing services that enable older people to maintain their independence in their own homes.
Our in-home services include help with shopping, ironing, cooking and other household tasks.
Private home support is offered at an hourly rate and available to people of all ages and some people may be eligible for an in-home care subsidy.
In-home care subsidy
Subsidies are available to help older people cover the cost of home help, personal care and carer support. They may also cover night sitter services, day care and respite care.
To get a subsidy a person needs to undergo a needs assessment and then apply to Work and Income. A needs assessment usually follows a referral by a GP or you can organise one by contacting the Ministry of Health.

Shopping
We can pick up older people and take them shopping or they can give us a shopping list and we'll take care of it for them.
Household tasks
We can send someone around to help with ironing, cleaning and other jobs around the home.
Linen service
In some areas we provide a pick up and drop off towel and linen service.
