Enliven residential support
At an Enliven rest home or hospital, residents maintain their independence in a friendly, warm environment where they feel right at home. Enliven rest homes are provided throughout the lower North Island by Presbyterian Support Central.
We spend time getting to know our clients and understanding what's important to them. This helps us to develop a personalised programme of care that values and supports their interests, lifestyle and health needs.
Living in an Enliven home
We practise the Eden AlternativeTM philosophy of care in our homes. It aims to create a vibrant living and working environment for older people and their caregivers.
We actively encourage residents to maintain their own routines, hobbies and interests. Family and friends - and even pets - will continue to be an important part of residents' everyday life. We also help residents to remain active in their church, RSA and other community networks.
With Enliven residents enjoy a strong sense of home and stay active and involved with activities such as:
- gardening, arts and crafts clubs
- indoor bowls and mini golf
- community cafes, events and school visits
- community concerts
