Willard Home - Palmerston North
Willard Home has been providing care for older people in Palmerston North for over 40 years. The home is set among large established grounds featuring a rose garden, aviary and courtyard.
Our experienced team is dedicated to making all our residents feel at home, and their families and friends are always welcome.
We have 45 single rooms offering care and support in a home-like environment. Our services are designed to take care of residents' day-to-day needs and emotional wellbeing while maintaining strong links with their families and wider community.
Recreation programme
Willard residents enjoy a varied and stimulating programme of activities, including:
- arts and crafts
- indoor bowls and mini golf
- bingo
- gardening
- sing-a-longs
- school visits.
Rest Home
Moving into residential care can be a positive decision for everyone concerned. Our Rest Home supports older people who cannot manage at home. Enabling you to maintain your independence and privacy in home-like surroundings is our goal.
Day Activity Programme
We welcome older people who live elsewhere to enjoy our services and facilities on a day to day basis. Enjoy lunch and meet like-minded people in a warm and friendly environment.
Respite care
If you are caring for an older person, occasionally you need time out to refresh. Reevedon provides a place for the person you care for while you get the rest you need. It's a flexible service to suit you.
Respite care may be funded by your local District Health Board or you can arrange it directly with us and pay for it privately.
Access our services
Accessing any of our services is easy and worry-free. You can be referred by a needs assessment agency or your doctor, or you can call us directly. Enliven will fit around your requirements - all you need to do is ask.
